Rules for the HB20SOTA anniversary diploma

1. Purpose

The anniversary diploma HB20SOTA is awarded on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of HB9SOTA in 2025. It is aimed at radio amateurs (chasers) and summit-to-summit hunters (S2S).

2. Basics

In addition to these regulations, the general regulations of the SOTA UK program apply.

3. Duration

The anniversary diploma is valid from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.

4. Diploma levels

The anniversary diploma will be awarded to all participants who have recorded the callsign HB20SOTA at least 20 times in the logbook.

5. Diploma QSOs

Contacts made during the diploma period with activators using the callsign HB20SOTA from a mountain with a valid SOTA reference count towards the anniversary diploma.

Contacts between an activator on a mountain with a valid SOTA reference and a second activator (Summit-to-Summit, S2S) are also recognized. QSOs of a foreign station with a Swiss activator are also recognized, but the callsign HB20SOTA may only be used in Switzerland.

6. Authorization

Only QSOs that have been uploaded to the SOTA database will be counted towards the diploma.

7. Application

The anniversary diploma can be applied for directly via the website of the SOTA Group Switzerland.

8. Shipping

The diploma is sent to the applicant by e-mail in the form of a digital image.

9. Costs

The anniversary diploma is free of charge for all radio amateurs who meet the requirements.

10. Entry into force

These regulations enter into force on January 1, 2025.
